Given the age of this Mercedes, the paint is in largely very good condition- there are some stone chips and minor door dings, but even from just a few feet away, they are all difficult faults to notice. The chrome around the car is decent, but the rear bumper does have a few indentations that could probably be fixed, and it still shines nicely around the vehicle. The formation of a small amount of rust is present under the rear fenders, that are important to note but does not look worrying at this time. The leather interior presents decently but does show wear on the seat bolster and armrests, and some of the lacquer is peeling from the wood dash trim. Some scuffs are also noted on the dashboard leather. Overall, aesthetics-wise, this car could be driven for years as is, and it would still be enjoyable, but small projects over time would help take it to the next level. Mechanically, the car exhibits some oil leaks, and the power steering makes a screeching noise when on full lock. There is minor rust on the front exhaust section, and the rubber hangers are starting to perish. Once again, these are small issues to be expected in an old car and would not preclude you from enjoying the vehicle, but would be good to address eventually.
